Downloaded the state and in short order had state and federal e-filed. If you need to edit a form, you need the desktop version. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and that doesn't help. They try to up-sell more expensive versions and all you get is additional guidance or walk through that is often not needed. Be sure to select the correct option for yourself, choosing the correct package, whether to include state or not, and whether to get a download or a physical disc. Support is abysmal and has very limited hours.
I purchased TurboTax Deluxe 2018 mac download from Amazon. Mac users need to buy and install windows on their machine which is annoying all by itself. Not up to TurboTax standards. I spoke to support once but I think they are trained to never admit that there is an error in the software. I encourage you to continue working with our support team so we can investigate this issue. The software worked flawlessly and did not have the usual assortment of bugs that had to be worked around in previous years.
