There are no speakers, but you do get a headphone jack. I would recommend it to anyone. I've played some classic games in 3D mode and it's super cool.
If you have a current passive 3D setup or know about passive 3D I would love to know because I have been pulling my hair out trying to figure this out. You can also choose from these picture modes: Standard, Vivid, Cinema, Game, Expert1 and Expert2. But I know that some people prefer the smoother pictures so try yourself. The polarized 3D glasses also cause less eyestrain in the long run. One more thing, maybe try testing with a type of memory foam for the nose rest on the glasses to make up for the slight extra weight, overall these are amazing glasses though, just pointing out some potential upgrades. Wish the colors were better-lime green-yuk. I know they are sharper but i don't care about that because of the convience of Passive.
In the middle you see the Premium Apps such as movie rental Apps, Facebook, YouTube and more. I was able to attach the base and get it all set up in about 15 minutes with just a screw driver. Active as way to many issues that i don't want to deal with.
