Privacy Window Film
I've done a couple tests and it's ok, but not the level of privacy I was looking for. This product is outstanding and we wish we'd installed it years ago. Brute force will ruin your results. The view is not as clear as the Gila brand, it looks leaded and warped like you're looking through moving water. It added the daytime privacy so you can't. I also recommend vacuuming the room around the window to remove dust and hair.

This product was extremely easy to install. I could install it without any bubbles and after almost two years, it is still perfect. I was aready at work when he gave me the call to let me know the apartment felt so much cooler and the privacy part is more than we could ask for. The backing will release from the film without leaving any folding mark. If you do decide to have the film cut to size before applying, having the mold is a must.

If you're looking for extreme heat reduction, this film blocks the highest level of solar energy at 80%. I even bought plush black bath sheets to put in between the foil and black out curtains to hold the heat, but you could still feel it pouring thru. I have told many friends about it. I used it on my patio doors and my new storm door. Some have mentioned that the film filters out too much light.

No peeling off, fading, nor bubbling in any of the windows. I am guessing this is true for all of these types of films. Use on any glass surface to add privacy without losing natural light. Sprayed the window with the solution it came in a kit and began to peel the film from the clear sheet it is attached to, and as I peeled it away being careful not to have it touch back on the film. It is a total winner.

I cleaned the glass, made templates of my glass panes cut them out. Use Windex first to clean your window very well and scrape it to remove any debris. The hardest part is to keep squeezing out all the moisture and bubbles or the film will not cling to the windows! During the night - similar - although you cannot see out either it appears like a mirror. We pulled the backing completely off and walked the wet film to the glass. This product is not intended to replace window curtains or blinds. You will need a light above it outside if you expect it to work at night.

Will this film placed over the glass front reduce hopefully, eliminate the reflection? Trimming once it's on the window can be done by one person, but you need two people to get it up there without some frustration. It helps first to YouTube a product installation video or view the installation video from Gila's website before you begin. Take caution on tinted or Low-E dual pane glass. Thoroughly reading the instructions before beginning was a great help, too, as it eliminated any surprises. For larger panes just start the separation on one edge, stick it to the clean, wet window, pulling the protective sheet away as you smooth out the reflective sheet. If you just measure from top to bottom and sideways, you may end up with some space left, because some windows are not perfect rectangles. You must thoroughly clean the window.

Shipped fast and in good condition. Privacy window film is the perfect solution to hide the view into rooms without disrupting your view to the outdoors. This product works as advertised, you will not be seen by nosey neighbors or passing strangers while you are inside of your home. One thing I did notice, the next day one area had bubbled up quite a bit, however, I did place this on top of a security film so it was not directly on the glass. Once the bubbles were removed, I used the trimmer that came in the kit and trimmed the excess.

Pushed out all of the air bubbles, sprayed the window again and squeeged again. Also to seperate the backer use 2 strips of scotch tape 1 each side on a corner, then press together. This film is a very inexpensive way to enhance security without having to replace the windows. This is not open retail so I wanted privacy for the front office. I bought this product because we recently had a child, live in a city, and don't want people staring in at my wife nursing. Wall covering used in greenhouses and 3m security can be warned the wonderful photos you from the film.
