Olen Ray and Wynorski clearly weren't interested in a movie about witchery spells and supernatural revenge, they just wanted to exploit the voluptuous chests of their female cast members as much as humanly possible. The acting is tolerable from most concerned. And who can seriously blame them, if that cast includes names like Rochelle Swanson, Kristi Ducati, Toni Naples and Julie Strain? Admittedly this all sounds a lot more complex than it actually is. That said, this isn't one of his better movies. Without the nuditythis one wouldn't hold anyone's attention for long. Los Movies provides embed links to other hosting sites on the internet and doesn't host any files itself. It's a treat to see William 'Blacula' Marshall as the seniorpartner at the firm.
Ashe's made to runs into the Reynolds' house, under her control, as madas a hatter trying to murder both her and the crippled Hal. Her husband has been relegated to a wheelchair and she's, shall we say, horny. However Albert'swife Linda Blair also happens to be a witch and she is intent on bringingthose who caused her and her husband harm down. Julie Strain returns but plays a different witch. Even Linda Blair looksgreat the best she's looked since she was kidnapped by Martin Sheen , butEddie Albert Jr. They're going to be the best known people here and while Blairwas never a great actress her presence alone is worthwhile.
Well, this one is a must forthose who look for hot erotic stuff on films. Sure it has the high breast count thing going for it. Photography and picture quality are sublime, helping to show offevery asset in the bodies of our attractive female cast. The film also arrives at an All a Dream Ending that makes no sense. Larry finding out about Erica's attempt on his best friend Larry's lifehas a violent fight with her causing Erica to fall from the balcony toher death. Jealous witch Erica uses her powers to influence her unwitting husband Larry and his colleagues, who all work for a big law firm. Amelia even gets her poor and innocent gardener Stan,Michael Parks to first lose him family in a bloody house invasionbreak-in, then his mind, by being accused by the police as being themurderer, and finally is life, by getting blasted by Ameila herself.
So, how is the film? Ameliais a bit whacked out herself not exactly knowing who is and who isn't athreat to her. Thefilm certainly isn't a masterpiece but if you enjoy this type oflow-budget movie then there's plenty here to be entertained by. Slowly but surely, Erica begins to take over Carol's thoughts until she can no longer think for herself. She uses herpowers to try to secure a critical promotion for her husband, butinstead of killing his competitor, Howard Edward Albert , she managesto cripple him. Produced by Fred Olen Ray and directed by Jim Wynorski.
This Sorceress should not be confused with the other film entitled Sorceress 1982 , a sword-and-sorcery film written by Wynorski back when he was working for Roger Corman and had yet to become a director. Larry returns home to find Erica casting the spell. Cheaply filmed, the cast is surprisingly better than you expect to see in this type of material. Erica decides to act and one night after a torrid sex session Larry drifts off to sleep and begins to dream. Wynorski puts a great deal of his efforts into stressing the eroticelements rather than traditional horror elements. Soon the dream turns into a nightmare of sex, violence, murder and death involving himself, his friends and colleagues from the law firm which appears to be frighteningly realistic…. With the exception of Linda Blair the biggest name actress present and the only woman who keeps her clothes on , all of the women present come with chest measurements that give the impression they had to be inflated with bicycle pumps before shooting started.
This film is about Julie Strain's kinky outfits, the lesbian threesome halfway through the film, the shower interlude of Kristi Ducati and — to a slightly lesser extent — the sexy charisma of a mature Linda Blair. The paralyzed man is thankfully married to a woman Linda Blair who also happens to be a witch. If you believe that the hosting company infringes producer's copyright please let us know:. The film has an interesting cast. Stan getting killed off early in thefilm was a big plus for him since he didn't have to suffer, like thoseof us watching, through the entire brainless and mind-numbing movie.
Carol is a blonde early in the movie, but she's brainwashed by the spirit of Erica to dye her hair brown. Erica falls off a balcony during the struggle, but she has enough black magic wisdom to haunt Larry's sexual fantasies from beyond the grave. But get used, this is what most of modern web do! This is about a bunch of spoiled and snobbish rich women, the wives and mistresses of lawyers of an acclaimed agency, who got so bored that they became experts in the field of witchcraft and demonology. Hmmm, but where was the plot? Great quality of image, gorgeous ladies and girl-girl and foot stuff, which are my favorite itemsonerotic tracks. Which I didn't mind too much, of course.
They fight and she falls off the balcony and is killed, not before she promises Larry that his life will be in danger without her spells to protect him. The plotis pretty nonsensical, but since it's serving to set up a bunch ofgenuinely titillating sex scenes, it's doubtful that there are going tobe many complaints on that front. It's got a great cast of good-looking women and the story wasn't that bad. Good premise, slightlybetter scripted then you would expect for such low budget fare has plentyofhot steamy moments and an attractive cast. She just accidentally ended up in a hopelessly inept B-movie production? But this was one of the better B-movies I've seen in a while. There is Linda Blair, the former Regan from 1973 now middle-aged; Edward Albert who is mostly confined to a wheelchair; even a brief cameo from the aging William Marshall, once the title character in 1972.
Cast Linda Blair Amelia Reynolds , Larry Poindexter Larry Barnes , Julie Strain Erica Barnes , Rochelle Swanson Carol Powell , Edward Albert Howard Reynolds , Michael Parks Stan Latarga , Toni Naples Maria , Kristina Ducati Kathy , Lenny Juliano Don , William Marshall John Geiger , Antonia Doran Trisha Plot Erica Barnes casts a magic spell to affect Howard Reynolds, a partner in the law firm where her husband Larry works. Thewitch did this so that her former lover would get the job and help hiscareer skyrocket. It ends in a flurry of bullets, but I'll save the ending for the select few of you who make it that far. Predictably, she puts into motion aplan of revenge. Why this movie doesn't come on Cinemax more often, I don't know. Julie Strain conducts a ritual You get the impression that Jim Wynorski has borrowed the basics from 1961 in which a husband finds his wife is a witch and becomes caught in the midst of a war with a rival witch after he demands she banish her charms. Now, of course, she looks like Erica.
Meanwhile, Amelia is out for revenge as well and she's even supremely witch enough to have Erica reincarnate as Larry's new love- interest Carol. A lot of times I find these scenes to belaughably bad but the director handles them well here. B cinema filmmaker Jim Wynorski gives his faithful audience all the sexand nudity they could want in this moderately amusing movie. Let me preface this by saying the only reason i gave this flick a shot was because I like Jim Wynorski, The director. It is a role that nobody, least of all Parks, seem to have any clue what he is doing there. It's when Larry goes back to his ex-wife Carol, RochelleSanson, that things begin to really heat up, emotional and sexually.
